- Copy of your passport (current and old)
- Photo page of your passport and any pages with amendments, endorsements, visas and entry / exit stamps.
- 1 passports sized photo attached to the front of the application form
- NSO/ BIRTH CERTIFICATE
- MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE (if married)
Evidence of your financial status and capacity to support yourself during your intended stay in Australia, such as:
- Copies of your bank statements/ deposit books showing your history of savings
- Copy of bank certificate
- Copies of pay slips over a period of time
- Credit card statements and limits
- Letter of support from Australian contact with the above evidence of financial capability (if applying for sponsor)

Documentary evidence of the child’s relationship to their parents:
- copy of the child’s birth certificate, showing names of the child and both parents
For children travelling without one or both parents or legal guardians, provide:
- copy of each non-travelling parent’s ID
- signed written authorisation (or form 1229, refer below) by non-travelling parent(s) advising:
- their agreement to permit their child to travel
- the approximate date and duration of travel
- Form 1229 Consent form to grant an Australian visa to a child under the age of 18 years
- Form 1257 Undertaking declaration
